Dem deutschen Winter entfliehen und ein Study Abroad Programm im Australischen Sommer geniessen.

The aim of the AMSI Summer School of Mathematics is to offer honours and coursework masters students a range or courses in the mathematical sciences, some of which may not normally be available at their home institutions. With the approval of their home university, students many take courses for credit towards their degree.

The courses are also open to post graduate students from cognate areas who wish to extend their knowledge of appropriate areas of mathematics and statistics. They have proven to be of interest to students from Physics, Engineering, Biomedical Science and Commerce (Finance, Risk Management and other quantitative areas), among others.

Students will enjoy a stimulating atmosphere where opportunities for the interchange of ideas both with one another and with the lecturers. The feeling of camaraderie and the opportunity to share mathematical experiences with a larger group of students will be key features of the Summer School. Social events such as morning teas and barbecues also contribute to the experience.
