Five-star successes for UOW in the Good Universities Guide

The University of Wollongong has repeated its success in the Good Universities Guide  publication, obtaining the maximum 5 stars in 6 key areas:

• Research  intensity;
• The educational experience (generic  skills);
• The educational experience (graduate satisfaction);
• Graduate starting  salary;
• Getting a Job; and,
• Positive Graduate Outcomes

Under the Guide’s ranking system, only the top 20 per cent of universities can be awarded a five-star rating in any one category.  

The release of this year’s guide marks a decade of success with UOW achieving five-star rankings for 10 years in a row in the categories of “Getting a Job”, “Positive Graduate Outcomes” and “Graduate Starting  Salary”.  UOW also stands along side seven of the so-called “Group of Eight” universities in achieving 5 stars in research intensity.  This is the third year in a row that this University has attained this success.
